Disclaimer

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the WAPP Congress 2026. The Committee will make the final decisions regarding the acceptance, format, and duration of each presentation in order to ensure the overall balance and quality of the scientific program. While many applicants request to conduct a workshop, only a limited number of workshop slots are available. Therefore, the likelihood of acceptance is significantly higher for oral presentations or spotlight talks than for workshops.

PRESENTATION TYPES AND DURATION OF PRESENTATION

KEYNOTE – 60 minutes (45 + 15)

Keynote lectures are by invitation only and delivered by distinguished speakers selected by the Scientific Committee. These 60-minute sessions (45 minutes of presentation followed by 15 minutes of discussion) showcase major developments, innovative perspectives, and essential topics in psychotherapy.

SPOTLIGHT TALKS – 15 minutes (10 + 5)

Spotlight Talks are short, inspiring presentations designed to highlight one central idea, tool, or project in Positive Psychotherapy. In 10 minutes, the speaker focuses on a single theme or discovery, followed by 5 minutes of interactive discussion with the audience. These sessions aim to spark curiosity, share innovation, and inspire reflection on practical or theoretical aspects of Positive Psychotherapy.

PRESENTATION – 30 minutes (20 + 10)

Presentations are engaging and structured sessions in which speakers explore innovative applications, research findings, or experiences within Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy. Each session includes a 20-minute talk followed by 10 minutes of discussion, allowing participants to exchange ideas and explore practical implications.

WORKSHOP – 60 minutes

Workshops are interactive, hands-on sessions that invite participants to explore a specific theme or method through direct experience and dialogue. Led by a facilitator who guides and manages the group process, each 60-minute workshop is designed for smaller groups and encourages active participation, skill development, and shared learning. The aim is to deepen understanding and inspire innovative approaches in Positive Psychotherapy practice.
