World Association for Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy (WAPP)

The World Association for Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy (WAPP e.V.) is the global umbrella organization for the method of Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy. Founded in Germany and registered as a non-profit, non-governmental professional association based in Wiesbaden, WAPP unites more than 3,000 individual members, national associations, training centers, and representative offices across more than 65 countries.

WAPP is dedicated to advancing the theory, methodology, and practice of Positive Psychotherapy (PPT after Peseschkian, since 1977)™ in a transcultural, humanistic, and resource-oriented spirit. Through its certified training programs, international conferences, continuing education, and certification pathways, the Association supports practitioners, trainers, and institutions worldwide in fostering mental health, well-being, and cross-cultural sensitivity.

o promote exchange of innovative ideas in the field of CSF shunt engineering
